The National Endowment for the Arts approves an Art Works grant to Fathomers for the development of Atmosphere, an installation at one of twelve sites in Michael Jones McKean’s Twelve Earths.
ART & PERMISSION
In conjunction with Frieze Week at NeueHouse, Fathomers presents a film screening of The Proposal and a conversation with artists Jill Magid and Jill Soloway.
DEAR DONOR
Fathomers screens artist Heather Dewey-Hagborg’s short film T3511 (2018), a “post-genomic love story” that follows a biohacker’s increasingly obsessive interactions with an anonymous saliva donor.
OPEN SIGNAL
A group of artists, poets, designers, consultants, and scholars come together to begin thinking about a global communication system of beacons linking Twelve Earths’ twelve sites.
