Covid-19 response
Dear Friends,
The health and safety of our community and the world around us is of the highest priority, and we at Fathomers understand the precautions that must be upheld. With the 24-hour news cycle dominated by COVID-19 updates, it is now more important than ever to emphasize radical support, encouragement, and community.
Self-distancing at times can be frightening and isolating, but it also enables us to explore new forms of collaboration and community, bringing forth new meaning to what it means to connect. Our team will continue to dedicate ourselves to redefining the limits of artistic engagement through meaningful discourse and creative provocation.
It is particularly difficult to see our fellow artists and creatives vulnerable to the economic impact of this global health crisis. Fathomers has gathered the following selection of existing online resources for artists, philanthropists, and professionals working across creative disciplines, because we know that circulating this valuable information could make all the difference for someone in need.
In light of this new reality, we must continue to make art accessible to the general public, now more than ever. We urge you to heed the CDC’s warnings and practice social distancing if you are in the position to do so. Protect one another and keep those around you safe, loved ones and strangers alike. Wishing you all health and safety.
On behalf of the Fathomers team,
Chinelo Ufondu
Development and Communication Associate
