TAAS artist scholarship

The Alternative Art School will be accepting applications until October 2, with classes beginning late October.

Fathomers is pleased to announce that we have sponsored an artist scholarship for one member of the inaugural class of The Alternative Art School (TAAS), who will be learning from artists and faculty members including Mario Ybarra Jr., Trevor Paglen, and Yael Bartana, among others. Conceived by Nato Thompson, former artistic director at Creative Time, in New York, TAAS is an effort to create an accessible and diverse educational platform — one that places an emphasis on fostering interpersonal relationships and reflecting the complexities of experiences across race, class, gender, sexuality, and disability. 

We are excited to commit to the future of an emerging artist and look forward to what TAAS has to offer!
